Managing Partner Scott Royce, Chef
After graduating from George Brown’s Culinary School, Scott honed his skills cooking at some of Canada’s premier dining establishments including Auberge du Pommier, Calgary’s Teatro, Chateau Lake Louise and the Royal York Hotel, to name but a few.
In 2006, Scott moved to beautiful Prince Edward County to join Harvest Restaurant, eventually moving on to Waupoos Winery as Executive Chef in 2011. Scott currently shares his expertise with his students in Loyalist College’s Culinary Program.
Scott is passionate about creating exquisitely presented dishes with refined flavours. He finds his inspiration from fresh, quality ingredients sourced from the best food producers and farmers in the region; ultimately to create a culinary experience that you will not soon forget.
When he is not cooking, Scott can be found spending time with his wife Victoria and chasing his young children around.
Managing Partner Kyle Otsuka, GM
Kyle combines his 15+ years of business experience with his love for cooking.
Kyle is a natural in the kitchen. He has many years of experience working in restaurants and is a skilled home cook. In addition, Kyle brings to the table a broad business background, spanning sales strategy & client relationship management, financial services and operations management.
In 2012, Kyle and his family took a big leap, leaving their corporate careers, to move from Toronto to Prince Edward County. Their passion for cooking inspired them to open Zest Kitchen Shop, a kitchen supply store on Picton’s Main Street.
It is in the shop where Kyle and Scott met. Scott was looking for a partner to help him grow his business. After a trial period, they discovered a strong partnership and have been working together to create fantastic dishes and events for their clients ever since.
